The Honor Magic Vs foldable smartphone has officially launched at the MWC 2023. The latest edition of the folding device from Honor comes with two OLED displays on the outside and the inside. Moreover, the smartphone has a stylus made explicitly for taking notes and scribbling on the large screen.

The design of the smartphone features a magnesium alloy frame along with a titanium alloy folding mechanism. The smartphone features a triple camera setup on the rear and a single front-facing camera on the large screen.

Honor Magic Vs Specifications

The Honor Magic Vs sports a 7.9-inch OLED screen when unfolded with a screen resolution of 2272 x 1984 pixels. The outer screen of the device features a 6.45-inch OLED display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels.

The inner display supports a refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness of 800 nits. The outer screen comes with a high refresh rate of 120Hz with support for HDR 10+ and a tall aspect ratio of 21.3:9.

Under the hood, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset powers the device. The storage provided on the device includes 12 GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The Prestige or the Ultimate variant comes with 16GB of RAM and supports Honor’s new stylus titled the “Magic Pen”.

The camera module features a triple-camera setup of dual 50-megapixel shooters and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. The primary camera comes with a Sony IMX800 and the secondary camera works as an ultra-wide and macro sensor. The front-facing camera of the device features a 16-megapixel shooter on the front of the inner display.

The connectivity options of the Magic Vs include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C Port. The sensor array of the device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. The battery pack comes with a 5000mAh cell that supports 66W fast charging with 5W reverse charge support.

Price and Availability

The Honor Magic Vs comes at a price tag of €1,599 or Rs 1,40,300 for the single 12GB/512GB option. Honor’s newest foldable smartphone flaunts in Black and Cyan. As of yet, there is no information on the Honor Magic Vs availability in India, however, we anticipate the smartphone will not be available.
