Honor has just announced their latest budget smartphone in India for this year. This smartphone is named as the Honor 10 Lite which is the successor to Honor 9 Lite which was released last year. In China, the Honor 10 Lite was already released back in November last year. The company has finally decided to bring this smartphone to the Indian markets. As far as Honor 10 Lite’s availability is concerned, it is a Flipkart-exclusive in India. Thus, the smartphone will be available on Flipkart and HiHonor website only.

Honor 10 Lite is the latest budget smartphone in Honor’s lineup. This smartphone comes with a dewdrop notch in the middle. Honor 10 Lite’s display looks similar to the Redmi Note 7 which was launched recently. Apart from that, the smartphone has a dual camera setup on the back and a fingerprint sensor alongside it.

As far as Honor 10 Lite’s display is concerned, it is a 6.21-inch full-HD+ panel with dewdrop notch. Honor claims that the Honor 10 Lite has a 91% screen-to-body ratio thanks to the notch.

On the inside, the Honor 10 Lite is powered by Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC. The device is also bundled with 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. One major prowess which comes inside the Honor 10 Lite is GPU Turbo 2.0. This makes Honor’s 10 Lite the first phone in Honor lineup to come with GPU Turbo technology.

GPU Turbo is a technology developed by Huawei to amp up the processing power of their smartphones for high performance. With GPU Turbo 2.0 on Honor 10 Lite, it will enable 60fps frame rate on the device which will eliminate frame drops and lags while gaming

As for the rear camera, there is a dual camera setup at the back of the Honor 10 Lite. This dual camera setup has a 13MP primary camera with a 2MP secondary camera. On the front, we get a single-but-powerful 24MP selfie camera. On top of that, this selfie camera is assisted by AI for facial recognition and scene detection.

The smartphone runs on EMUI 9.0 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. In India, Honor 10 Lite is announced for Rs. 13999 for the 4GB variant and Rs. 17999 for the 6GB variant.
