Vivo Y75 5G Launched with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and Triple Cameras in India

Vivo Y75 5G smartphone has arrived in India after a lot of teasers from the past week by the Chinese manufacturer. The teasers show the design of the smartphone that featured flat sides; along with rounded corners and Vivo has officially announced the smartphone this week.

The device comes with a 5G chipset from MediaTek and Triple Rear Cameras along with a gradient back; that portrays different color shades when tilted in a few ways. The front of the device has a water-drop notch along with a chin on the bottom; bringing the screen-to-body ratio of 83.8%.

Vivo Y75 5G Specifications

The display of the Y75 5G from Vivo sports a 6.58-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD with a screen resolution of 1,080×2,408 pixels. The new handset supports Dual Sim and runs on the Android 12 operating system with FunTouch OS 12.

Speaking of the performance, an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 Chipset coupled with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU powers the device. Furthermore, the storage options include 8GB of RAM with 4GB of extended RAM; and 128GB of onboard storage with 1TB of expandability support with a microSD card.

The camera module on the Y75 is a triple-camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture lens. A 2-megapixel macro secondary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture lens and a tertiary 2-megapixel bokeh camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens.

Moreover, the front-facing camera of the Y75 handset in the water-drop notch comes as a 16-megapixel shooter with Vivo’s Extreme Night AI-based algorithm for selfies and video calling.

The sensors array of the smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, proximity, and a compass. Besides, the connectivity on the Y75 device includes 5G, 4G LTE, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1; GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Moreover, the battery backup of the Y75 comes from the 5000mAh cell that supports 18W fast charging support.

Price and Availability

The Vivo Y75 5G smartphone comes at a price tag of Rs. 21,990 for the single storage version of 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The device flaunts in two different color shades like the Glowing Galaxy and Starlight Black options.

The smartphone will go on sale at Vivo’s official website and authorized retail stores in the offline market in India.
