Nokia C31 Launched with Triple Rear Cameras and Unisoc Processor in India

The Nokia C31 budget smartphone has officially launched in India with a single storage option. The brand announced the smartphone first in the global markets in September this year. Now, The smartphone features a 5050mAh huge battery, triple rear cameras, and an octa-core chipset.

The handset design features a polycarbonate back and a water-drop notch display on the front. The design of the smartphone is pretty similar to the previously launched devices from Nokia. Moreover, the device will compete with brands like Samsung, Realme, Xiaomi, and Infinix that announce devices in a similar price bracket. 

Let’s look at the features, specifications, pricing, and availability of the Nokia C31 in India.

The Nokia C31 sports a 6.74-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. The display comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a screen-to-body ratio of 83.4%, and a pixel density of 260 PPI. Under the hood, an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A chipset paired with IMG8322 powers the handset. The device runs on the Android 12 operating system with Stock UI.

The triple camera setup of the C31 smartphone comes with a primary 13-megapixel wide sensor with autofocus. Besides, the camera module has a duo of 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro purposes. Moreover, the front-facing sensor residing in the water-drop notch comes with a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. 

Speaking of storage, Nokia has brought the device with up to 4GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The connectivity features on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, AGPS, and Galileo.

Furthermore, Bluetooth v4.2, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a micro-USB port. The sensors array on the handset comes with a rear-mount fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, and proximity. 

The battery pack features a 5050mAh cell that supports the regular 10W charging speed. Additionally, the C31 comes with IP52 certification that protects the device from occasional water splashes.

Price and Availability

The base model of the Nokia C31 in India is priced at Rs. 9,999 and comes with 32GB of storage. The cost of the 4GB and 64GB storage models is Rs. 10,999. With the exception of India, the Nokia C31 was released in September and had a starting price of EUR 129. (Rs. 10,500 approx).

The device is currently available for sale on Nokia’s official website and stores in India. The brand might soon bring the smartphone to e-commerce websites and other retail offline stores in India.
