Moto G73 5G Launched With MediaTek Dimensity 930 Chipset and 50-Megapixel Camera in India

Moto G73 5G is the latest 5G smartphone in the G-series from Moto in India. The brand has announced its newest handset with a MediaTek Dimensity chipset and Dual Cameras. The device features a punch-hole display that supports high-refresh-rate. Besides, the back design of the G73 resembles the previously launched devices from Moto.

The smartphone features the usual Moto gestures that no other device offers in the current times. Moreover, the G73 comes with ThinkShield mobile security for keeping tasks and usage more secure.

Moto G73 5G Specifications

The Moto G73 5G sports a 6.5-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD with a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. The display comes with the support of a 120Hz high refresh rate, a screen-to-body ratio of 85.6%, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a pixel density of 405 PPI. Under the hood, an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 930 Chipset paired with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU.

The camera module of the G73 comes with a dual-camera system. The setup features a primary 50-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The secondary sensor on the setup comes with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide macro depth shooter with f/2.2 aperture. The front-facing camera of the G73 comes with an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling.

The storage provided with the handset includes 8GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage with expandable storage. Moto G73 runs on the latest version of Android 13 and the company is promising an upgrade to Android 14. Moreover, Moto will even provide up to three years of security updates.

The connectivity options on the G73 include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C port. The sensor array of the device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity, and compass. The battery pack provided on the device has a 5000mAh cell that supports 30W TurboPower fast charging.

Price and Availability

In January, the Moto G73 5G was first made available in the UK for EUR 299 (approximately Rs. 26,600) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option.

However, the only Moto G73 5G option with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at Rs. 18,999 in India. Starting on March 16, the phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart as well as in a few local retail locations. It comes in the colors Lucent White and Midnight Blue.

As of the launch promotions for the Moto G73 5G, there are Rs. 2,000 rebates for using specific bank cards to make purchases. Moreover, free EMI options beginning at Rs. 3,167 are available for holders of Axis, HDFC, ICICI, and SBI cards.
