Among the two, 8X Max is the premium as per the spec sheets. You will get a premium notch along with some high-class features as compared to the 8X.

The chipset is Kirin HiSilicon 710F. The octa-core processor is accompanied by either 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. Moreover, you can choose from 64 GB and 128 GB internal storage options as well.

As for the optics, the device has a dual camera setup on the rear with a 20 MP primary and a 2 MP secondary sensor. Not to mention, there is an LED flash to help you with the lowlight photography. Up front, it got a 16 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Both the smartphones run on EMUI 8.2.0 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. And, the company has included a TUV Rheinland-certified blue light protection along with AI-powered features for better camera performance.

The basic variant of Honor 8X Max comes with a price tag of CNY 1499 (Rs. 15700) while the 128 GB variant has a price of CNY 1799 (Rs. 19000).
