Requirements

You must follow some pre-requirements in order to update Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean ROM on Samsung Galaxy MINI successfully. Follow all below mentioned requirements carefully before starting. One wrong step will brick your mobile. Watch your step carefully.

  1. This ROM is designed and developed only of Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 S6500. So kindly don’t follow this steps on any other models.
  2. Root and install ClockworkMOD Recovery on Samsung Galaxy Mini before updating to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean (Most Important Step)
  3. Backup all data on Android Mobile like contacts, Messages etc
  4. Charge your device at the lest up to 70%
  5. Enable USB Debugging on your mobile. (Settings -> Applications -> Development -> USB Debugging)
  6. Install/Update Cable drivers on your PC

How to Update Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 S6500 to Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 with CyanogenMod 10.1

Instructions for Flashing

  1. Connect your Samsung Galaxy Mini S6500 to PC by making use of USB cable
  2. Copy both “CM 10.1 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean custom ROM” and “Google Application Package” to your mobile without extracting. Copy as zip files as downloaded
  3. Now disconnect your mobile from PC and switch it off

  9. Go back to main screen and select “Reboot system now” and wait till reboot completes. It usually takes 3-5 minutes.

    Hallo,
    the Update was working fine.
    After the Update my WLan dosn’t work.
    I think there is an ishue with the Driver.
    Can you help me please?
