New Windows 11 KB5008295 Update Fixes Issues Caused Due to Expired Certificate

The new Windows 11 update from Microsoft, KB5008295 is a non-security patch update that is keen to fix a few issues faced by the users. Although, Microsoft hasn’t revealed the exact number of users facing the problem.

But, in one of their support documents, Microsoft has revealed that users are having problems with some of the features. These features mainly include Snipping Tools, touch keyboard, and other features such as emoji panel and voice typing.

New Windows 11 Update Partially Fixes the Snipping tool issue

Microsoft hasn’t fully resolved the certification issue on the new Operating system for the users but has released this new update that fixes the most sought-after features on the platform.

Users that have installed the latest OS update from Microsoft are not able to access; preloaded Windows apps and features from November 1st. This is because the digital certificate licenses of many Windows users have expired on October 31st.

The certification issue has raised problems with features such as the Snipping Tool, touch keyboard, voice typing, emoji panel.

Apart from these, there were issues with the accounts page and landing page in the Settings app, Input Method Editor user interface (IME UI); and in sections like Getting started and Tips.

Besides, the update has only fixed some of the issues from the above features and other problems are still persistent among the users.

The Windows 11 KB5008295 update concerning the certification error has fixed the issues; such as touch keyboard, voice typing, emoji panel, and IME UI.

Moreover, Microsoft hasn’t fixed the more important Snipping Tool; which many users around the world make use of on daily basis and elements in S mode. Instead, the company is recommending a traditional method for the function of capturing screenshots to the user.

Microsoft is recommending the Windows 11 users use; the regular way of using the Print Screen key on the keyboard to paste the required capture in any document.

Few users have found a makeshift that helps to bring back the functionality of the features; by changing the date of the system to October 30. Besides, the tech giant is working on the Snipping tool and S Mode issues relentlessly and might bring the solution in a short span.
