The Chinese brand has yet again launched a new smartphone in Y-series dubbed as Vivo Y33s. In the previous month, the brand has launched the Vivo Y72 and this month they added Y12G and Y21. Now, they have launched the Y33s smartphone for mid-range consumers with a Mediatek Helio G-series processor. There are many options after the launches to chose from the Y-series of smartphones from Vivo.
The smartphone comes in a typical Vivo design and has a notch display on the front. Besides, the brand is providing the smartphone in a single configuration with bigger RAM. The RAM expandability 2.0 feature on the Y33s can use the phone’s inbuilt storage for RAM functions at up to 4GB.
On the other hand, the device runs on the Android 11 operating system with FunTouch OS 11.1 skin on top.
Vivo Y33s Specifications and Features
The Y33s smartphone sports a 6.58-inch full-HD+ LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. The display comes with a water-drop notch for a selfie camera and comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a regular 60Hz refresh rate panel. An Octa-core 12nm Mediatek Helio G80 SoC powers the device along with Mali-G52 GPU. Meanwhile, the storage provided on the device is 8GB of RAM and 4GB of extended RAM.
The internal storage of the device is 128GB that can be expanded up to 1TB with a dedicated micro SD card slot. The camera module includes a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 lens.
Besides, a secondary 2-megapixel macro shooter with f/2.4 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Also, the front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.
The sensors array of the device features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass. The connectivity options on the Y33s handset include dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth v5, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The battery capacity of the smartphone is a 5,000mAh cell that supports 18W fast charging and also supports reverse charging technology out-of-the-box.

The Vivo Y33s comes at a price tag of Rs. 17,990 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version. The flaunts in two unique Midday Dream and Mirror Black colors. Furthermore, Vivo is providing a flat Rs. 1,500 cashback with HDFC and ICICI Bank credit and debit cards on offline purchase.
