Vivo announces the Y21e smartphone as an affordable offering for the Indian market; featuring a Snapdragon chipset and virtual RAM that extends the existing RAM.
The company claims to come with “best-in-class features,”; that cater to the attention of the youth and millennials at pocket-friendly pricing. Vivo is even providing a few additional features such as Eye Protection Mode with Blue Filter and Face Wake unlocking.

The dimensions of this new offering from Vivo include a weight of 182 grams and measures 164.26×76.08×8.00mm and comes with a plastic frame and body. The back of the device comes with dual-rear cameras featuring a 13-megapixel main sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The secondary sensor is a 2-megapixel macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture along with AI filters, modes, and an LED Flash.
The rear camera modes of the Y21e apart from AI include Personalized Portrait Mode, Super HDR, and Face Beauty mode. Besides, the front of the device sports a water-drop notch design that houses an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 aperture for selfies and video calling.
The display on the front is a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD Halo Full View Display with a screen resolution. Furthermore, The eye protection feature on the display can filter out all the blue harmful rays and reduce eye strain.

The Vivo Y21e comes at a price tag of Rs. 12,990 for the lone 3GB RAM and 64GB storage version. The color palette of the smartphone includes two shades; Diamond Glow and Midnight Blue colors. The device is already available for sale right now at many offline stores and online retailers in India.
