Samsung Galaxy F22 is the new member in the F-series of smartphones from the Korean manufacturer for the Indian market. A Super AMOLED 90Hz display and a bigger capacity battery; are the highlighting features of this newly announced smartphone from Samsung. However, the smartphone has budget specifications at a mid-range price. You can find many other devices with better specifications at this price point.
This smartphone shares the same internals as the previously announced Galaxy M32 device in India. Samsung is mostly focusing its F-series for the online e-commerce websites. Still, the device will be available for purchase in Samsung exclusive online stores in India. Albeit, the design is a polycarbonate build with quad-cameras on the back and an Infinity-U notch on the front.
Samsung Galaxy F22 Specifications
The Galaxy F22 features a 6.4-inch HD+ sAMOLED Infinity-U display with a 700 x 1600 pixels resolution. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 Aspect ratio. An Octa-core 12nm Mediatek Helio G80 processor along with Mali-G52 GPU powers the smartphone.
The storage provided on the device is up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage with an expandability option of up to 1TB via an SD card slot.
Also, the device comes with a quad-camera setup that consists of a 48-megapixel main camera. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, A 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In addition to that, the front-facing camera is a 13-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. The device runs on the Android 11 Operating System with One UI 3.1 skin on top.
Samsung provided a bunch of connectivity options on F22 such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0, USB OTG support. The sensors on-board for the F22 are a side-mounted Fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. The battery capacity of the Galaxy F22 is of a 6,000mAh cell that supports 25W fast charging capabilities. Despite the support, Samsung provides a slower 15W fast charger inside the retail box.
Price and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy F22 starts at a price tag of Rs. 12,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version is priced at Rs. 14,499. The color options that F22 flaunts in are Denim Blue and Denim Black variants.
The Galaxy F22 will go on sale from July 13 at 12 pm on Flipkart and Samsung’s official website in India. Above all, there is an introductory Rs. 1000 off on the device from Samsung’s official website.
