Redmi Note 10T 5G Launched With MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC in India

Redmi Note 10T after a lot of teasing and anticipation from the company has finally arrived in India. The company teased the smartphone on social media with the “#FastAndFuturistic” for quite a lot of time.

The wait has ended and Mi India has finally brought the first 5G variant of the Note series in India. Also, the Note 10T 5G is not a totally new device but a rebranded version of Redmi Note 10 5G (Europe) and Poco M3 Pro 5G.

The specifications and design are similar or rather the same with the Poco M3 Pro 5G smartphone launched in India. The highlighting factors of the newly launched Redmi smartphone are its camera setup and the 5G chipset.

The manufacturer has used the MediaTek Dimensity SoC on its Note 10T 5G device. There are triple cameras present on the rear module of the device and the display features a high-refresh-rate 90Hz panel.

The Note 10T 5G sports a 6.5-inch full-HD+ display with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The display supports up to 90Hz adaptive refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio screen. An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC coupled with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU powers the device.

The storage options on the 10T 5G are up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of internal storage options. The device runs on the Android 11 operating system with MIUI skin on top.

The camera module on the smartphone is a triple camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens. A secondary 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens.

The front-facing camera on the smartphone is an 8-megapixel sensor with an  f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. Also, the fingerprint sensor on the 10T 5G is a side-mounted unit embedded with the power button.

The connectivity options of the smartphone are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR) blaster; NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The sensors array of the device features an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

The battery capacity of the smartphone is of 5,000mAh cell that supports 18W fast charging. Redmi is providing a 22.5W charger in the box for fast charging.

Price and Availability

The Redmi Note 10T 5G comes at a starting price of Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version is priced at Rs. 15,999.

The color options for the device are Chromium White, Graphite Black, Metallic Blue, and Mint Green colors. The device is scheduled for sale from July 26 on Amazon India, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and other offline retail stores.
