Realme’s much-awaited flagship smartphone, the Realme X, is finally announced in India. This smartphone will also go on sale in the country soon. Along with the Realme X, Realme 3i was also announced by the company. This will be an entry-level variant of the Realme 3 in India.

Since the Realme X was already launched in China, its specifications were already known to smartphone enthusiasts. And we now know that the Realme X will be available in India starting at Rs. 16,999. As for the Realme 3i, its prices in India start at just Rs. 7999. While the Realme X comes with a Snapdragon 7 series processor, Realme 3i is powered by a MediaTek chip.

It has to be noted that Realme X is currently the most premium smartphone that Realme offers in its lineup. This is because the smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual rear cameras and pop-up selfie camera for a bezel-less design. This means that there is no notch on the display of Realme X while there is a waterdrop notch on the Realme 3i.

Coming to the Realme X, it has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ SAMOLED display. Along with that, you get a 91.2% screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 which was seen on Realme 3 Pro as well. However, what sets the Realme X apart from the Realme 3 is its features.

You get an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual rear cameras with a 48MP primary Sony IMX586 sensor and pop-up selfie camera. In addition, you also have a 3765 mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging at 20W. Although there is still a plastic back for the Realme X, the smartphone looks very premium.

As for the Realme 3i, the smartphone has a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a 19:9 display and dewdrop notch. You get a MediaTek Helio P60 processor beneath this device which is seen on other budget smartphones too.

In addition, there is a dual rear camera of 13MP+2MP on this device. The Realme 3i comes with a 4230 mAh battery without VOOC 3.0 support, however.

The base variant of Realme X comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage starting at Rs. 16,999 in India. But it has to be said that 4GB RAM might not be enough if you are using the smartphone for gaming.

Therefore, the 8GB RAM variant of Realme X which is priced at Rs. 19,999 is the smart choice. The Realme 3i starts at just Rs. 7999 for 3/32GB variant and Rs. 9999 for 4/64GB variant.
