Realme Narzo N55 5G Launched with MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and Mini Capsule in India

The Realme Narzo N55 5G smartphone has officially launched in India with a MediaTek Helio chipset and a 64-Megapixel camera. The brand has brought its newest Narzo series handset with a Mini Capsule which works similarly to the Dynamic Island on iPhone 14 Pro series. The feature first made its debut on the Realme C55 device that launched at the start of this year.

The first N-series Narzo smartphone from Realme comes with a Dual AI camera setup with an LED flash and a unique design pattern. The Narzo N55 5G has support for fast charging that can charge the device to 50 percent in just 29 minutes.

The Realme Narzo N55 5G sports a 6.72-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display comes with the support of a 90Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a screen-to-body ratio of 86.7%, and a peak brightness of 680 nits. The device comes with a plastic frame and back that comes with a color-changing design at the camera when tilted.

The handset runs on the Realme UI 4.0 operating system based on the Android 13 operating system. Under the hood, an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor paired with Mali-G52 GPU powers the device. The storage provided on the new Narzo comes with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.

The camera module of the device has a dual-sensor system with an LED flash. The primary sensor of the Narzo N55 has a 64-megapixel shooter with f/1.8 aperture. The secondary sensor of the device has a 2-megapixel depth shooter with an f/2.4 aperture. The front-facing camera comes with an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.

The connectivity features on the device include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C 2.0. The sensor array of the handset features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, proximity, and compass. The battery pack included with the N55 features a 5000mAh cell that supports 33W fast charging.

Price and Availability

The Realme Narzo N55 5G comes with a price tag of Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB and 64 GB versions. The 6GB and 128 GB storage variants come at a cost of Rs. 12,999 and the devices flaunt in Prime Blue and Prime Black shades.

The handset will be available for its first sale on April 13 from noon. Users can avail of a discount of Rs. 700 for the base version and Rs. 1000 for the high-end variant on Realme and Amazon websites.
