Realme Narzo 50 5G Launched with MediaTek Dimensity 810 Chipset and a 5000mAh Battery in India

Realme announces a new smartphone in its Narzo line-up; that features a new design overhaul and a 5G chipset in India. The Realme Narzo 50 5G has officially launched in the country; featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 5G chipset and a water-drop notch high refresh rate display.

Moreover, the handset comes with a plastic body and arrives in three different storage variants in the country. The company has brought the smartphone for sale in India starting from today, i.e., 24/05/2022 at noon. Let’s check out the specifications, features, and pricing of the Realme Narzo 50 5G smartphone.

Realme Narzo 50 5G Specifications

The Realme Narzo 50 5G sports a 6.6 inches FHD+ IPS LCD with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. The display of the Narzo 50 5G arrives with a 90Hz refresh rate support, a 20:9 ratio, a 400 PPI of pixel density, and 600 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, an octa-core 6 nm MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU powers the handset. The device runs on Realme UI 3.0 skin based on the Android 12 operating system.

The camera module on the Narzo 50 5G comes with a dual-camera setup housing a primary 48-megapixel wide sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF. Besides, the secondary sensor on the setup; features a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an  f/2.4 aperture, keeping the camera setup simple.

Furthermore, the front-facing camera of the handset comes with an 8-megapixel sensor with a wide f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.

The connectivity options of the Narzo 50 5G includes 5G, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac; Bluetooth, GPS, Stereo Speakers, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port.

Besides, the sensors array of the handset comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. The device comes packed with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

Price and Availability

The Realme Narzo 50 5G costs Rs. 15,999 for the base variant of 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. Whereas, the mid-variant with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage gets a price tag of Rs. 16,999.

The higher-storage version of the Narzo 50 5G smartphone with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage comes for Rs. 17,999. This latest edition of the Narzo 5G smartphone from Realme is currently available for sale via Amazon in India.
