Realme 9 Pro 5G and Realme 9 Pro+ 5G have officially arrived in the Indian smartphone market with Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets respectively. The Chinese manufacturer has brought this new duo of smartphones with a unique feature on its back panel.
The handsets come with the ability to change the colors of the back panel with the help of a Light Shift Design. This new back design will change the Light Blue to Red when the back panel goes exposed to the sunlight. However, the brand has limited this feature to its Sunrise Blue variant.
Realme 9 Pro 5G Specifications
The Realme 9 Pro 5G handset sports a 6.6-inch full-HD+ LCD panel with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels. Moreover, the display supports a six-level adaptive 120Hz high refresh rate along with a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset coupled with Adreno 619 GPU powers the smartphone. The storage option on the 9 Pro 5G features up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
The camera setup on the 9 Pro comes with a Triple Rear Cameras featuring; a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture. A secondary 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture along with a field of view of 119 degrees.

The higher-grade 9 Pro+ 5G handset from Realme gets powered by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor. Coming to the display, the device comes with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display; with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9 along with a punch-hole for the front camera. Besides, The storage options of the Realme 9 Pro+ 5G come with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The camera setup on the 9 Pro+ 5G includes a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor; with ProLight Imaging Technology that helps for more intake of light onto the sensor. The secondary sensor on the setup comes with an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture along with a field of view of 119 degrees. On contrary, the 9 Pro+ 5G smartphone starts at Rs. 24,999 for the base variant and goes up to Rs. 28,999 for the high-storage of 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage.
The handsets will flaunt in three different colors such as Aurora Green, Midnight Black, and Sunrise Blue options. The sale for the Realme 9 Pro 5G will start from February 23 at noon and Realme 9 Pro+ 5G starts on February 21 at noon.
