Nokia 5.3 and Nokia C3 Launched with HD+ Display, Price Starts From Rs. 13,999

Nokia has launched two new smartphones Nokia 5.3 and Nokia C3 in India. HMD globals have launched new smartphones in the country after over eight months.

Both smartphones come with HD+ display, fingerprint scanner, dedicated Google Assistant button and runs on Android 10 out of the box.

Nokia 5.3 Specifications

It 5.3 features a 6.55-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9.

Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with up to 6GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB internal storage that supports external microSD card.

In the camera department, it has a quad-camera setup at the back. It has a 13MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP (118-degree) ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor.

For selfie, it has an 8MP shooter with an f/2.0 lens.

The phone runs on Android 10 with a stock experience. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dedicated Google Assistant button. It packs a 4,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging.

Nokia C3 Specifications

Unlike the Nokia 5.3, C3 features a slightly smaller 5.99-inch HD+ IPS display. It has an octa-core Unisoc SC9863A SoC, paired with up to 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

In the camera department, it has a single 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP selfie shooter at the front.

The phone runs on stock Android 10. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dedicated Google Assistant button. It packs a 3,040mAh battery, and the company claims it can deliver up to 16.5 days of standby time or 50 hours of talk time on a single charge.

Price and Availability

Coming to the price, the Nokia 5.3 starts at Rs 13,999 for the base 4GB + 64GB variant, while the 6GB + 64GB variant costs Rs 15,499. It comes in Cyan, Sand, and Charcoal color options.

In terms of availability, interested one can pre-order from today through Nokia’s official web site, and will be available for purchase starting September 1, 2020.

Whereas, price for the Nokia C3 has been set at Rs 7,499 for the 2GB + 16GB storage variant and Rs 8,999 for the 3GB + 32GB storage variant.

The phone comes in the Cyan and Sand color options. It will be available for purchase starting September 17, with its pre-orders going live through the Nokia website from September 10, 2020.
