MSI Creator Z16 comes as a new laptop for a specific set of audiences from the brand; apart from their usual gaming products. The laptop has officially launched in India; that comes in two different variants with 11th Gen Intel Core i7 and i9 chipsets.
The company has opted for a 16:10 aspect ratio screen with a touch-supported display where other manufacturers bring 16:9 aspect ratio screens on their laptops. Also, the laptop has a mini-LED backlit keyboard and the display features thin bezels. MSI is targeting this sleek-looking machine for creators and professionals for portability.
MSI Creator Z16 Specifications
The MSI Creator Z16 sports a 16-inch QHD+ touch display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The display comes with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.
An Intel Core i7 or i9 11th Gen Processor powers the laptop; coupled with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU of 6GB GDDR6 graphics memory. The storage on the laptop is up to 64GB DDR4-3200MHz RAM and can accommodate two NVMe M.2 SSD storage in the dedicated slots.
The display of the laptop comes with a factory-calibrated Delta-E < 2 color accuracy along with True Color Technology post the color gamut that helps content creators and designers. Using these new technologies on the display helps in color correction and maintaining natural shades while creating or editing an image or a video.
The Creator Z16 features a keyboard that comes with a backlit mini-LED that is capable of illuminating lightly dim spaces. Moreover, MSI has provided dedicated software for the backlit keyboard that helps in personalizing each key of mini-LED with custom settings.
The connectivity features on the laptop include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2; and an Infrared (IR) sensor-equipped HD webcam for recording and video calls. Furthermore, the I/O section of the Creator Z16 comes with two Thunderbolt 4, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, and a 3.5mm headphone combo jack. The battery pack on the laptop is a four-cell lithium polymer that supports a 180W fast-charging slim adapter.
Price and Availability
The MSI Creator Z16 comes for Rs. 2,40,990 for the Intel Core i7 version and the Intel Core i9 version is priced at Rs. 2,57,990. The laptop is available in a single lone color option and will go on sale from December 13; at MSI Offline Stores, Flipkart, and other retail stores across India.
