Moto G51 5G Launched With 120Hz Refresh Rate Display and Snapdragon 480 Plus SoC in India

Moto G51 has launched as a rival to the other competitors in the market such as Redmi Note 11T 5G, Realme Narzo 30 5G, and Poco M3 Pro 5G in India. The G51 5G comes with a Snapdragon 480 Plus budget 5G chipset from Qualcomm that features 12 Global 5G bands.

Moreover, the smartphone arrives with triple rear cameras and a high-refresh-rate display that caps at 120Hz. The handset has a typical Motorola design that was present in the previous handset along with a logo on the back.

Moto G51 5G Specifications

Moto G51 5G sports a 6.8-inch full-HD+ Max Vision display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate panel and a 20:9 aspect ratio screen. An Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus chipset powers the device coupled with 4GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the onboard storage of the G51 5G is 64GB of internal storage with a hybrid sim slot for expandable storage with a micro-SD card.

The camera module on the G51 5G is a triple camera setup featuring a primary 50-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The secondary sensor is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture; the tertiary sensor is a 2-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture.

The front-facing camera on the smartphone is a 13-megapixel wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture; for selfies, video calling and has video recording capability at 1080p resolution.

The connectivity options provided on the handset include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Dual-Band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1; GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, FM Radio, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Also, the sensors array of the smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and a compass. The battery pack on this new 5G handset from Moto is a 5000mAh cell that supports 20W Rapid Charging.

Price and Availability

The Moto G51 5G goes at a price tag of Rs. 14,999 for the lone 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage version in India. The smartphone will flaunt in two unique color shades; Aqua Blue and Indigo Blue. The smartphone will go on sale from December 16 at 12-noon in-partnership with Flipkart India.
