Lenovo ThinkPhone Business Mobile Launched with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Chipset

Motorola has officially announced the Lenovo ThinkPhone flagship smartphone with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a primary 50-megapixel camera setup. The brand unveiled the smartphone at CES 2023, held in Las Vegas. The company has launched the device with seamless business and security features integration.

The smartphone arrives with ThinkShield for advanced mobile security along with military-grade (MIL-STD-810H) durability. ThinkPhone comes with an aluminum frame build that supports an IP68 rating that keeps the device resistant to sweat, dust, and water.

The Lenovo ThinkPhone sports a 6.6-inch full-HD+ P-OLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display of the smartphone supports HDR 10+, 144Hz high-refresh-rate, a screen-to-body ratio of 89.0%, and a pixel density of 399PPI.

Under the hood, the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with Adreno 730 GPU powers the device. The storage provided with the device includes up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage.

The camera setup features a triple sensor module with a primary 50-megapixel sensor with OIS, PDAF, and f/1.8 aperture. The secondary sensor of the setup comes with a 13-megapixel ultrawide shooter with f/2.2 aperture and 120-degrees FoV. The tertiary 2-megapixel serves as a depth shooter with an f/2.4 aperture. The front-facing camera comes with a duo of 32MP and 16MP with ROW and PRC models.

The new smartphone has Motorola’s ThinkShield, which serves as an improved security barrier against malware, phishing, network assaults, and other threats. Furthermore, the device features In addition, the smartphone has Moto KeySafe, a separate Android processor that isolates and safeguards PINs, passwords, and cryptographic keys, adding an added layer of protection.

For business, the brand has included Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Teams mobile apps preloaded.

The connectivity options on the ThinkPhone include 5G, a USB Type-C port, and Wi-Fi 6E. The ThinkPhone users have the vicinity to have a combined PC and mobile experience. The Think 2 Think feature enables the integration of the smartphone with Lenovo’s ThinkPad laptops.

The battery pack provided on the device features a 5000mAh cell with 68W wired and 15W wireless charge support.
