Lenovo Legion 5 Pro, a new laptop in the gaming segment launched in India. The laptop features the latest AMD Ryzen, 5000 series processors. Lenovo has updated the Legion series of laptops in January with the internals. Now, the laptop has arrived at the Indian markets with the same set of specifications. Apart from these changes, the laptop has a high-resolution display with a high refresh rate panel.
The laptop comes equipped with the newest Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs for graphics-related purposes. Also, the design of the Legion 5 Pro is very unique; with RGB lighting and an illuminated logo on the back. The build is made up of metal which gives a sturdy feeling and feels good for the user while carrying. Lenovo is even providing Legion Ultimate Support solely dedicated to gamers.
Lenovo Legion 5 Pro Specifications
The Legion 5 Pro sports a 16-inch WQXGA IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The display supports a 165Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, and 16:10 aspect ratio. Also, the display has 100 percent sRGB coverage, Dolby Vision, HDR400 certification; FreeSync, G-Sync, and X-Rite Pantone factory color calibration.
An AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor powers the gaming laptop along with up to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 GPU that has 8GB GDDR6 VRAM and TGP of 140W. Besides, the storage on the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro is 16GB DDR4 RAM clocked at 3,200MHz. The RAM is upgradeable for up to 32GB and has a 1TB M.2 PCIe 3.0×4 NVMe SSD in terms of storage and goes up to 2TB with configurable customizations.
The connectivity options on the Legion 5 Pro includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port, HDMI port, Ethernet, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The keyboard provided by Lenovo on the laptop features four-zone RGB lighting and the speaker system is a two 2W speaker with Nahimic Audio. Also, the battery capacity is of 80Wh and charges rapidly up to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
Price and Availability
The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro starts at a price tag of Rs. 1,39,990 that has 16GB RAM and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. The price of 32GB RAM and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 GPU variant of Legion 5 Pro is Rs. 1,59,990.
Although, there is a single color option for both variants which is Storm Grey. The laptop is available for Pre-orders and will go on sale from Amazon India and Lenovo’s official website.
