iQOO Z6 Lite 5G has officially announced as the world’s first smartphone with Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset. This new lite version of the iQOO Z6 comes with a 5G chipset and joins the Z-series in India. The company has brought this new smartphone with a high refresh-rate display and dual rear cameras.

The smartphone comes with a full-HD display, unlike other brands that stick with an HD screen. However, the brand has incorporated a water-drop notch on the display instead of a punch-hole. There’s no charger provided in the box, which is a huge disappointment too. Let’s take a good look at the features, specifications, pricing, and availability of the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G.

iQOO Z6 Lite 5G Specifications

The Lite version from the Z6 line-up comes with a 6.58-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 1080 x 2408 pixels of screen resolution. The display comes with an aspect ratio of 20:9, a screen-to-body ratio of 84.5%, and a pixel density of 401 PPI.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 makes its debut paired with Adreno GPU on the Z6 Lite 5G. The new Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 comes as a successor to the Snapdragon 480 Plus and has a 10-15% overall performance upgrade.

The camera module of the new Z-series smartphone includes a dual camera system along with an LED Flash. The setup comes with a primary 50-megapixel wide sensor with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF.

Besides, the secondary sensor of the device features a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture for selfies and video calling. The device runs on the Android 11 operating system with Origin OS Ocean skin on top.

The connectivity options of the device come with 5G, 4G VoLTE, Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. The sensors array features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, proximity, and compass. Lastly, the device gets completed with the inclusion of a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging support.

Price and Availability

The iQOO Z6 Lite 5G smartphone costs Rs 13,999 for the base 4GB+64GB variant and Rs. 15,499 for the 6GB+128GB storage version in India. On the other hand, the brand has brought this smartphone in two distinct color options: Stellar Green and Mystic Night.

Vivo has scheduled the first sale of the Z6 Lite 5G starting on 14 September from 12:15 PM on Amazon and offline retail stores in India.
