iQOO Neo 6 Officially Launched with Snapdragon 870 and Triple Rear Cameras in India

Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has become a well-known and popular brand among Indian consumers for its flagship smartphones at affordable pricing. The company has announced the latest iQOO Neo 6 smartphone in India; featuring a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 800-series chipset and triple rear cameras.

Moreover, the design aspects of the smartphone include a box-shaped protrusion on the back that consists of triple rear cameras, LED Flash, and Neo branding. Besides, the display comes with a centered punch hole for the front-facing camera and flaunts narrow bezels; giving the smartphone a premium look. Let’s check out the features, specifications, pricing, and availability of the new iQOO Neo 6 smartphone.

iQOO Neo 6 Features and Specifications

The iQOO Neo 6 smartphone sports a 6.62-inch full-HD+ E4 AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Besides, the display of the Neo 6 comes with the support of a 360Hz touch sampling rate; HDR 10+, a peak brightness of 1300 nits; a screen-to-body ratio of 85.2% along with a pixel density of 398 PPI. Under the hood, an octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset paired with an Adreno 650 GPU powers the handset.

The camera module of the iQOO Neo 6 comes with a triple camera setup featuring a primary 64-megapixel wide f/1.9 sensor with PDAF and OIS support. Furthermore, the setup comes with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. Moreover, the front-facing shooter of the Neo 6 resides in the punch-hole; featuring a 16-megapixel wide sensor for selfies and video calling.

The newest smartphone from the Vivo’s sub-brand runs on the latest Android 12 operating system with a Fun touch 12 skin on top. The storage options provided for this particular smartphone from iQOO include an 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage version; besides, the next variant is a 12 GB RAM with 256 GB storage option.

The connectivity options of the iQOO Neo 6 include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS; Stereo Speakers, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. Nonetheless, the company hasn’t skipped on any sensors providing an optical under-display, fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. However, the iQOO Neo 6 comes with a 4,700mAh battery pack that supports 80W FlashCharge fast charging support.

Price and Availability

The iQOO Neo 6 starts at Rs. 29,999 for the base storage version of the 8 GB + 128 GB storage model and goes up to  Rs. 33,999; for the 12 GB + 256 GB storage variant. Above all, the company has brought this latest edition of the Neo smartphone; in two different color options – Cyber Rage and Dark Nova shades.

This newest smartphone from iQOO is currently available for sale on Amazon and listed on the company’s official website in India.
