Huawei launches the Y7 Pro 2019 with 4000 mAh battery in Vietnam

Huawei, the smartphone giant and one of the leading smartphone manufacturers, has just started the new year with a bang. The company has launched their first smartphone of 2019. This announcement has been made by Huawei in the Vietnamese markets currently. However, the smartphone is expected to arrive in other markets soon. The smartphone which has been launched is the Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 variant. One of the major highlights regarding the Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 is its battery. The smartphone is bundled with a massive 4000 mAh battery. The smartphone is a budget offering from the company but it still packs some solid specifications.

Huawei Y7 Pro is the affordable smartphone in Huawei Y series. Now, the Huawei Y7 Pro launched in Vietnam comes with a 6.26-inch FHD+ display. Also, this display has a waterdrop notch in the middle and has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Huawei Y7 Pro has a Gorilla Glass protection too but the exact version of Gorilla Glass is unknown. Along with that, the device also has Face Unlock thanks to its front camera.

On the inside, the Huawei Y7 Pro has an entry-level processor from Qualcomm. This processor is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 launched last year. There is an Adreno 506 GPU along with this SoC as well. The smartphone packs 3GB of RAM for all the multi-tasking performance and comes with 32GB of internal storage. However, the internal storage on this device can be further expanded up to 512GB via microSD card.

Talking about Huawei Y7 Pro’s camera, there is a dual camera set up at the back. This dual camera setup has a 13MP primary sensor along with a 2MP secondary sensor for depth detection. On the front is a single 16MP camera fitted inside the waterdrop notch. The device houses a massive 4000 mAh non-removable battery, as we mentioned earlier.

The smartphone runs on EMUI 8.2 out-of-the-box which is Huawei’s custom skin of Android. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and the upgrade to Android 9.0 Pie is expected soon. As for the pricing, the device is launched at 3,990,000 Vietnamese Dong. This is approximately equal to Rs. 12000 in terms of Indian Rupees. However, there is no confirmation regarding Huawei Y7 Pro’s release in India.
