Dell Precision Notebooks and Alienware m15 R6 Officially Launched

Dell Precision series along with Alienware m15 R6 launched officially with the latest and high-end Intel Chipsets. The models announced in the Precision line-up are Precision 3561, Precision 5560, Precision 5760, Precision 7560, and Precision 7760.

All models will feature the latest Intel’s 11th Gen Core H-series CPUs or Intel Xeon W CPUs. Apart from the Precision lineup, Dell has introduced a new Alienware m15 R6 gaming laptop.

Dell Precision

The manufacturer is refreshing all its laptop models with new hardware and the same goes for the Precision models. Moreover, there are security features on all the Precision Notebooks such as Intel vPro Technology and a fingerprint reader with ControlVault 3. All the models come with Windows 10 pre-installed with myriad configurations.

Alienware m15 R6 specifications

Alienware m15 R6 sports a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of full-HD 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display supports up to 360Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, 300 nits of peak brightness, 100 percent sRGB color gamut, and Nvidia G-Sync support.

The higher-variant of the same features a 15.6-inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Besides, the higher resolution display supports a 240Hz refresh rate, 2ms response time, 400 nits of peak brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and Nvidia G-Sync and Advanced Optimus.

Dell Precision - Alienware

The laptop is powered by an Intel 11th Gen Core i9-11900H CPU coupled with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPU with 8GB of GDDR6 RAM.

The GPU can churn out a whopping 115W Total Graphics Power on the machine. The RAM and storage options are up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3,200MHz and up to 4TB PCIe M.2 SSD.

The connectivity options are three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a Thunderbolt 4 port, an HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an RJ-45 Ethernet port. The battery capacity is of 86Whr cell.

Dell Precision 3561 Specifications

The 3561 model from Precision sports up to a 15.6-inch UHD display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The display supports a 16:9 aspect ratio, 400 nits of peak brightness, 100 percent sRGB coverage, and a 60Hz refresh rate.

The Intel 11th Gen Core i9-11950H CPU or an Intel Xeon W-11855M CPU is coupled with up to an Nvidia T600 GPU with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM powers the notebook.

The storage options provided on the Precision 3561 are up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3,200MHz and up to a 2TB of M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe Gen4x4 Class 40 SSD storage.

The connectivity options on this workstation notebook are Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX210 2×2.11ax, Bluetooth v5.1, two Thunderbolt 4 ports. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.0, RJ-45, card reader, and an optional Smart Card and fingerprint reader.

The battery capacity is up to a 96Whr cell and the laptop features dual speakers tuned by Waves MaxxAudio Pro.

Dell Precision 5560 and 5760 Specifications

The 5560 model features a 15.6-inch UHD+ InfinityEdge display whereas the 5760 model comes with a 17-inch display WLED UHD+.

The displays support a 60Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of peak brightness, 100 percent AdobeRGB, 99 percent DCI-P3, and Gorilla Glass protection.

Under the hood, both the laptops come with an Intel 11th Gen Core i9-11950H CPU or an Intel Xeon W-11955M CPU. Besides, the GPU on the 5560 model is an Nvidia RTX A2000 GPU with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM.

Dell Precision - 5560

The 5760 features the Nvidia RTX A3000 GPU with 6GB of GDDR6 VRAM. The storage options for the 5560 and 5760 are up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3,200MHz and up to a 2TB of M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe SSD.

The connectivity options are two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an SD card reader. The battery capacity of the 5560 is 86Whr cell and the 5760 features a bigger 97Whr cell.

Dell Precision 7560 and 7760 Specifications

The 7560 model features a 15.6-inch UHD+ display whereas the 7760 model comes with a 17-inch display with UHD+ resolution. The display of the 7560 model supports DisplayHDR 600 certification, 100 percent Adobe RGB, and 800 nits of peak brightness.

Whereas the 7760 display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 100 percent Adobe RGB coverage, 500 nits of peak brightness, and DisplayHDR 400 certification.

An Intel 11th Gen Core i9-11950H CPU or an Intel Xeon W-11955M CPU coupled with up to an Nvidia RTX A5000 with 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM powers the duo.

The RAM and storage options are up to 128GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3,200MHz and up to 4TB of Gen 4 PCIe x4 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD storage.

The connectivity options are Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 Global 5G Modem, Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 (6GHz), Bluetooth v5.2, two Thunderbolt 4 ports. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a Mini DisplayPort 1.4, a universal audio jack, an SD card slot, a smart card reader, and a SIM (Micro) slot. The battery capacity of this duo is of 95Whr cell.

Price and Availability

The Alienware m15 R6 comes for a starting price of $1,299.99 and is scheduled for sale this summer. The prices for the Precision series from Dell have not been announced yet.
