Acer Swift X is a new device in the Swift series of laptops in India that features an AMD chipset. The laptop launched on 7th September i.e., on Tuesday, and comes with a 5000 series Ryzen chipset along with an Nvidia GPU.
The design of the Swift X notebook features a lightweight metal chassis; that only weighs around 1.39kg and has a thickness of 17.9mm.
The targeted users for the newly launched Acer laptop come under the creative categories; such as content editors, streamers, and bloggers that travel a lot. The notebook from Acer comes at a premium pricing which competes with other laptop manufacturers like Dell, HP, and Lenovo that provide similar specifications.
Furthermore, the high-end GPU from Nvidia helps in using most of the performance in creative and graphical work.
Acer Swift X Specifications
The Swift X laptop sports a 14-inch full-HD IPS display with a resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels. Also, the display comes with an 85.7 percent screen-to-body ratio; and supports 100 percent sRGB coverage with 300 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, an AMD Ryzen 5 5600U mobile processor that features up to 4.4 GHz, 8 cores, and 16 processing threads; capable of making basic works at faster speeds to rendering 4K videos.
The GPU needs of this Swift notebook are covered by the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU; which comes with 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM. On the storage front, the device comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 2TB of internal SSD storage. Additionally, the laptops support Windows Hello sign-in with fingerprint sensor; and noise suppression enhanced with AI for smoother input audio for audio and video calls.
Also, Acer has given a lot of attention to thermal management and provided dual d6 copper pipes that feature a 0.6mm fan with 56 blades. Even the keyboard of the laptop features an air inlet that decreases 8-10% of heat in the internals. Besides, the battery capacity of the Swift X is of a 59Wh cell; that gives a claimed backup of up to 15 hours from Acer with fast charging support.
Price and Availability
The Acer Swift X starts at a price tag of Rs. 84,999 and the pricing for different storage options is yet to be known. The laptop is readily available to purchase from offline retails stores such as Acer Exclusive stores, Vijay Sales and on Acer Online store, and Flipkart in the online market.
