Step 1: First of all, rename the “Runme.txt” file that you downloaded earlier to “Runme.bat”.
Step 2: Now extract the root folder that you downloaded earlier.
Step 3: Now copy/paste the “Runmhow to root lg optimus l9 p769e.bat” file to the root folder that you downloaded earlier.
Step 4: Now connect your LG Optimus L9 to your computer and choose connectivity mode as “USB LG Mode” from your Smartphone.
Step 5: Now once again, navigate to the extracted root folder.
Step 6: Click the runme.bat file from the extracted root folder.
Step 7: When the runme.bat file opens, select the normal mode by pressing number 1.
Step 8: Now, a prompt box will appear on your Smartphone. And from that prompt box, choose “Restore My Data” option.
Step 9: Now the rooting process will begin. And you will be notified upon completing.

    Hi, I recentally rooted my phone thru a different method. I can not tell a difference tho. I am interested in custom roms. can you help me? I have a p769. I am most interested in customizing colors, fonts, ect… and my memory is almost full and I can not move apps to my sd. I am new to the whole rooting idea and do not fully understand what it means and how to do things with my rooted phone. Thank you in advance.

      Once you root your mobile, you can move apps from phone memory to SD card

    Hello Amar, I appreciate your hard work, you’ve done to contribute this awesome article. LG Optimus L9 is indeed an advance smartphone released by LG and it’s all features are quite cool to me. I’ve recently purchased this phone and without rooting I was getting rejected by my phone to save something to my memory card. Though your instructions are pretty much helped me to root my device.
