Poco X3 Launched With Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC, 6,000mAh Battery Starting at Rs 16,999

After getting a massive success of Poco X2, the Chinese smartphone giant has launched an upgraded version Poco X3. The Indian variant Poco X3 is almost the same that was introduced in the European market earlier this month. However, the Indian variants lack some features such as NFC.

The smartphone was launched today, by a virtual reality event. The phone features Snapdragon 730 series processor up to 8GB LPDDR4 RAM, 33W fast charging, and more.

Poco X3 Specifications

The smartphone features a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It is rated HDR10 and protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 732G processor paired with Adreno 618 GPU. It also has a Liquidcool technology 1.0 Plus.

For RAM and Storage, it has up to 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Also, the storage is expandable via a microSD card up to 256GB.

In the optics department, it features a quad-camera at the back. It includes a 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor with f/1.73 lens, a 13MP (119-degree) wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 lens, and another 2MP camera for macro photography.

The rear camera can record up to 4K videos at 30fps and 720fps slo-mo at 720 pixels.

For selfies, it has a 20MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture housed in the hole-punch cut out in the center of the display.

For sound, the phone has dual stereo speakers. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

The Poco X3 runs on MIUI12, based on Android 10. It has a 6,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and AI Face unlock. The phone is also rated IP53 for water and dust resistance.

Price and Availability

The smartphone comes in two colours, Cobalt Blue and Shadow Grey. It is priced at Rs 16,999 for the 6GB + 64GB storage variant, Rs 18,499 for the 6GB + 128GB storage. Whereas the top variant, 8GB + 128GB variant costs Rs 19,999.

Poco X3 will go on sale in the country via Flipkart starting at 12 PM, on September 29.
