Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i has officially launched featuring Chromebook OS at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023. The brand has brought their latest edition of IdeaPad as a flexible two-in-one thin and light form factor. Besides, the device can simultaneously work as a laptop and a tablet with a 360-degree foldable hinge.
The Chromebook comes with an FHD display, an HD or FHD webcam, and a battery lasting up to 12 hours on a single charge. The webcam provided with the laptop features a privacy shutter. Moreover, Lenovo has unveiled the laptop with an Intel chipset, Waves’ MaxxAudio Speaker setup, and much more. This new Chromebook laptop from Lenovo will compete with other brands like Acer and Asus which are at similar price points.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i sports a 12.2-inch IPS touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The display comes with a peak brightness level of 300 units along with TUV Rheinland low blue light certification. Moreover, you can turn the laptop display into a tablet with the aid of a 360-degree hinge.
Under the hood, the IdeaPad Chromebook features either Intel Processor N100 or the Intel Processor N200. The storage provided on the laptop includes 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of eMMC storage. Moreover, the laptop cum tablet from Lenovo runs on the ChromeOS which is light and power efficient for not-so-heavy tasks.
The Flex 3i comes with a 720p or 1080p camera with a dedicated privacy shutter and mute button. On the other hand, the device features 2W dual speakers on the front with support for MaxxAudio.
The connectivity options include Intel Wi-Fi 6 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 Combo with Wi-Fi card, a MicroSD card slot, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port. A two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A port, a combo audio jack, and an HDMI 1.4. Lastly, the battery pack provided with the Flex 3i can provide a backup of up to 12 hours on a single charge.
Price and Availability
Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3i Chromebook laptop cum tablet costs $349.99 or (Rs 28,939 approximately). The device is expected to go for sale officially through Lenovo’s retail channels in different countries starting May 2023.
The color options provided for the Flex 3i laptop come with two unique shades. The new Chromebook laptop from Lenovo flaunts Cloud Grey and Abyss Blue options.
