iQOO Neo 7 5G with 120W Fast Charging and MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Launched in India

iQOO Neo 7 arrives as the latest 5G smartphone featuring high-end flagship features in India. The iQOO’s latest device in the Neo series comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. The new iQOO Neo series phone has a number of improvements over the iQOO Neo 6 from the previous year.

The iQOO Neo 7 5G released in India appears to be a rebranded version of the iQOO Neo 7 SE that made its debut in China in December of the previous year. The phone is compatible with 120W rapid charging, which is rated to charge the gadget to 50% in 10 minutes.

The iQOO Neo 7 5G sports a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. The display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits of peak brightness, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 93.11 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8200 5G SoC, coupled with Mali G610 powers the device.

The camera module on the Neo 7 comes with a triple sensor setup featuring a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS and  f/1.79 aperture. The other two sensors on the setup come with 2-megapixel shooters for depth and macro purposes with f/2.4 aperture. Besides, the device’s front-facing camera comes with a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.

The connectivity options of the device feature 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, OTG, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C ports. The sensors array includes an in-display fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and infrared remote control. The battery pack features a 5000mAh cell with 120W fast charge support.

Price and Availability

The base variant of the iQoo Neo 7 5G costs Rs. 29,999 in India. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The cost of the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is Rs. 33,999. The device comes in Frost Blue and Interstellar Black shades.

The company has brought the smartphone for sale and currently sells it on its official website and on Amazon in India. For purchases made using credit and debit cards from the ICICI, HDFC, and SBI banks, iQOO is providing a flat discount of Rs. 1,500. A further exchange offer of Rs. 2,000 is also available. For up to nine months, there are no-cost EMI alternatives available.
