Infinix Hot 20S Launched With Triple Rear Cameras and MediaTek Helio G96 Chipset

Infinix Hot 20S smartphone has officially launched in the Philippines under China’s Transsion Group parent company. The device comes equipped with Rear Triple Cameras and gets powered by the Mediatek G96 SoC. The handset arrives with 8 GB of RAM with expandable RAM of 13 GB from the internal storage.

The main highlighting factors of the device include a high-refresh-rate display, 50-megapixel primary sensor in the camera setup, and fast charging support. The device’s physical dimensions are 168.65 x 76.75×8.47 mm, weighing 202 grams.

The Infinix Hot 20S sports a 6.78-full-HD+ IPS TFT display with a screen resolution of 1,080 X 2,460 pixels. The display comes with 120Hz variable refresh rate support, and Infinix names the display as a HyperVision Gaming-Pro display.

Under the hood, an octa-core Mediatek MT6781 Helio G96 chipset paired with Mali-G57 MC2 powers the handset. The storage of Hot 20S comes with 8 GB of RAM, 13 GB expandable RAM, and 128 GB of internal storage.

The camera module of the handset features triple cameras that house a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.6 aperture. The secondary and tertiary sensors come with a 2-megapixel sensor for depth and macro purposes.

The front-facing camera of the handset has an 8-megapixel sensor with LED flash for selfies and video calling. Besides, the smartphone runs on the Android 12 operating system with XOS 12 skin.

The connectivity options of the Hot 20S include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, USB type-C port, OTG, GPS, and GPS/ A-GPS. Furthermore, the sensor array of the device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, e-compass, G-sensor, light sensor, and proximity sensor.

The battery pack on the device includes a 5000mAh cell that supports 18W fast charging with USB Type-C 2.0 support.

Price and Availability

The Infinix Hot 20S costs PHP 8,499 or Rs. 12,200 approx. In the Philippines, the brand has listed the device Shopee e-commerce website. The smartphone comes in a single storage version of 8GB RAM + 128GB variant and flaunts in shades of Black, Blue, Purple, and white. However, there’s no information regarding the launch, pricing, and availability of the Hot 20S in India and other markets.

On the other hand, the company is bringing their Infinix Hot 20 5G series of smartphones on December 1st in India. The upcoming series from the brand will comprise two devices, Infinix Hot 20 5G and Hot 20 Play, that was announced recently in the global markets.
