ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Launched: The World's First Smartphone With 18GB of RAM and 1TB of Storage

ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Aerospace Edition has officially launched in China with overall flagship-grade specifications and design. The device has become the World’s first smartphone to feature 18GB of RAM; which no other manufacturer hasn’t released in recent times.

Along with the higher RAM, the brand is providing a humongous 1 Terabyte of storage on the smartphone; making it a fully packed flagship. ZTE has even announced other products at the event; that includes Axon 30 Aerospace Edition, ZTE Voyage 20 Pro, and ZTE LiveBuds Pro earbuds.

ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Specifications

The Axon 30 Ultra sports a 6.67 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display supports a 144Hz refresh rate featuring an HDR 10+ panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio.

An Octa-Core Snapdragon 888 5G Chipset from Qualcomm powers the device. The storage options include the higher 18GB RAM and 1TB Storage along with a combination of 8/12/16 GB of RAM and 128/256/512 GB of internal storage versions.

The camera module on the handset is a quad-camera setup featuring a 64MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, a 64MP Wide-angle sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, PDAF, Laser AF, and OIS.

Furthermore, the tertiary sensor is a 64 MP ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and lastly, an 8MP sensor periscope telephoto lens that supports PDAF, OIS, and 5x optical zoom. Besides, the front-facing camera is a 16 MP wide sensor for selfies and video calling.

The connectivity features of the smartphone include 5G, 4G LTE, Dual-Band Wi-fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C 3.1 port that even supports OTG. Moreover, the sensor array of the Axon 30 Ultra features an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and an under-display optical fingerprint sensor.

Besides, the battery pack on the device is a 4600 mAh cell that supports 65W; Quick Charge 4+, and USB Power Delivery 3.0 fast charging.

Price and Availability

The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Aerospace Edition with the highest storage of 18GB RAM; 1TB version is priced at 6,998 Yuan or Rs. 81,831 approx. Also, the base variant of the smartphone from ZTE with 8GB RAM is priced at 4698 Yuan.

The Axon 30 Ultra new Aerospace edition is available for sale and the previous base variant launched in April is already available to purchase in China.
