Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE has officially arrived in India on 29th Sept, Wednesday after its global announcement last month. The global launch event even included other Xiaomi smartphones such as 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro.
The 11 Lite 5G NE smartphone launched in India comes with the same form factor and internals except for the chipset. The device is an updated version of the Xiaomi 11 Lite smartphone that debuted in April in India.
Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE Specifications
The 11 Lite 5G NE is the most light-weighted smartphone in the market right now; weighing at around 158grams that even gets a thinner body. The smartphone runs on the Android 11 Operating system with MIUI 12.5 skin on top.
The display is a 6.55-inch full-HD+ 10-bit flat Polymer OLED with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision support.
Under the hood, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. The storage provided on the smartphone is up to 256GB of the UFS 3.1 storage version. Users can expand the storage with the help of an SD card placed in the hybrid sim slot.
The camera system features a wide variety of modes on the device that comes with over 50 director modes to play with.
The camera module is a triple camera system featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, with an f/1.79 lens. A secondary 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and has a field-of-view (FoV) of 119 degrees.
A tertiary 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 telephoto lens. On the front, a 20-megapixel sensor is accompanied by the punch-hole front-facing sensor for selfies and video calling.
The connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Infrared (IR), Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The sensors array of the 11 Lite 5G NE comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass. The battery pack on the device is a 4,250mAh cell that supports fast charging of up to 33W with the provided in-box adapter.
Price and Availability
The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE starts a price tag of Rs. 26,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The high-storage version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs. 28,999. The color options for the smartphone include Diamond Dazzle, Tuscany Coral, Vinyl Black, and Jazz Blue.
The 11 Lite 5G NE goes on sale from October 2 at midnight on Amazon, Xiaomi India’s official website, and other retail stores across India.
