Tecno has forayed into the laptop market after its mid and budget-range smartphone launches in India. Here comes the new Tecno Megabook T1 laptop from the brand which comes as the latest laptop series in the country. The laptop launched by Tecno for the Indian masses features a lightweight design and a thin chassis for flexible portability.
The laptop and its premium design come with a large 15.6-inch display that boasts good numbers in brightness. On the inside, the newest T1 series laptop from Tecno includes the 11th Generation Intel processor and SSD storage. The pricing of the laptop makes it a worthy option amongst the laptops that are sold by other brands in India.
Tecno Megabook T1 Specifications
The Tecno Megabook T1 sports a 15.6-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display comes with a peak brightness of 350 nits and 100 percent sRGB color gamut coverage. Furthermore, Tecno has incorporated the TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort Certification for lesser strain on the eyes and the laptop has a backlit keyboard.
Under the hood, the laptop comes in three different variants which include the 11th Generation Intel Core i3, i5, and i7 chipsets. The storage on the laptop comes equipped with 16GB of RAM and 1 TB of SSD storage. There’s a dedicated fingerprint scanner combined with the power key that helps you to securely boot up the laptop. The speaker setup on the laptop supports the DTS X tuning for better audio output.
The connectivity options on the laptop include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. Whereas, the I/O ports provided on the laptop come with dual USB 3.0 ports, USB 3.1 Type-C, HDMI 1.4, USB 3.1 Type-A, a dedicated SD Card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There’s a webcam provided with the laptop with 2-megapixel resolution and supports HD streaming.
The battery on the laptop comes with a 70Whr cell that supports 65W PD ultra-fast charging through the provided USB Type-C port. Tecno claims that the battery on the Megabook T1 lasts for up to 17.5 hours on a single charge. Additionally, the laptop runs on the Windows 11 Home operating system and comes pre-installed with MS Office tools.
Price and Availability
The Tecno Megabook T1 laptop starts at Rs. 37,999 for the Core i3 configuration. The mid-variant with Core i5 chipset costs Rs. 47,999 and the higher-end Core i7 version comes at Rs. 57,999.
Apart from the variants, the Megabook T1 flaunts three different color shades – Denim Blue, Space Grey, and Moonshine Silver. The laptop is currently available for sale in retail offline and online stores across India.
