Samsung Temporary Cloud Backup rolled out as a new feature for users offering temporary cloud storage. The Korean brand has finally started providing backup options for users which other big companies like Apple and Google have been doing for a long time. This unlimited storage plan from the brand works as a trial version which allows users to back up data safely.

Users have the free hand to upload all kinds of data like audio, video, and documents. Besides, the users can even store private files in the secure folder. The feature will also allow the users to restore the uploaded data.

Furthermore, there are much more options from Samsung regarding this backup storage like support for third-party apps and after repair, data recovery on Samsung devices.

Samsung Temporary Cloud Backup offers Cloud Storage to all Smartphone Users

In this digital day and age, we certainly rely on storing a lot of data which includes thousands of pictures, hundreds of images, and documents. Companies have come up with cloud storage solutions that provide ease of access and store the important files of the users. These cloud storage options from brands provide security as well as a good amount of space.

Popular companies like Apple, Google, and Microsoft already offer their cloud storage backup plans to users for a price. Now, Samsung has joined this list by starting to offer unlimited cloud storage for backup to the users. But there is a catch, Samsung is providing this temporary cloud storage backup for up to 30 days to users.

The service doesn’t exclusively work for users that already have Samsung devices but even works with other brand users as well. There’s no limit on the storage but a single file that the user uploads shouldn’t cross 100 GB. Users can store all kinds of files such as audio, video, documents, and even private files within the Secure Folder.

Samsung claims that the uploaded data will be stored securely for up to 30 days from the initial backup. At this time, users can access the cloud storage at any time and restore the files whenever they need it. Here comes the catch, after the 30-day trial period ends, the data stored in the cloud will automatically get deleted.

The Samsung Temporary Cloud Backup isn’t restricted to Samsung apps and services but even supports other third-party applications. There’s even a privacy feature that blocks unauthorized persons from accessing personal information while giving the device for repairs. This new feature will soon roll out on all Galaxy smartphones, and tablets running on One UI 6 in Korea.
