Samsung Launched Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra With Snapdragon 865+, 5G Connectivity, S Pen Stylus

Samsung has upgraded its Note lineup with Galaxy Note 20 series of smartphones. On 5 August, Samsung launched Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra on an online event. Both variants come bundled with an S pen stylus, features a hole-punch display, and with 5G connectivity as well.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Specifications

The Note 20 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Infinity-O super AMOLED+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has a refresh rate of 60Hz and 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 865+ SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. However, there is no slot to extend the storage.

For photography, it houses a triple camera setup at the back. The primary camera is a 12MP sensor with an f/1.8 lens accompanied by a 64MP and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. The device comes with 30x Space Zoom, which is similar to what Galaxy S20 and S20+ offer.

The selfie camera is a 10 MP shooter and has dual-pixel autofocus through f/2.2 aperture.

Note 20 comes with an S Pen that has a latency of 26 milliseconds. There is also a Microsoft Office stylus integration to let users convert their hand-written notes into a Word or PowerPoint file.

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Specifications

The Note 20 Ultra features a slightly larger 6.9-inch WQHD Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2X curved-edge display. It has a resolution of 1,440×3,200 pixels, 19.3:9 aspect ratio, and 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 865+ SoC, paired with 8GB and 12GB RAM options. For storage it has 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage options. Also, the storage can be expanded via a microSD card.

On the optics department, like Note 20 it features a triple camera setup at the back. It includes a 108 MP sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2, and a 12 MP sensor with an f/3.0 lens. It offers 3x optical zoom and 50x space zoom and also supports 8Kvideo recording.

Additionally, the rear camera setup comes with a laser autofocus module for an enhanced experience.

The front camera on the Note 20 Ultra is the same as the Note 20, a 10 MP camera with a f/2.2 lens.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes with an upgraded S Pen. It is said to have a latency of nine milliseconds. Furthermore, it comes with the Microsoft Office stylus integration and the updated Samsung Notes app, just like the standard Galaxy Note 20 model.

Moreover, the Note 20 Ultra also has Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) support that powers a preloaded Nearby Share feature. This lets users quickly share a file with another UWB-equipped Galaxy phone user by pointing your Galaxy Note 20 Ultra towards that user.

The Ultra variant comes with a 4,500mAh battery that supports fast wired and wireless charging. It also supports reverse charging.

The Note 20 is available in Mystic Bronze and Mystic Green color. Whereas the Note 20 Ultra will come in Mystic Bronze and Mystic black color option.

The Note 20 price in India has been set at Rs 77,999 for the 4G variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Whereas the Note 20 Ultra 5G priced at Rs 1,04,999 for the 256GB variant. The smartphone is now open for pre-booking through samsung.com
