How to Root Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 GT-P5100
After you’ve read and followed the above sections, you’re good to root your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. And below is the detailed tutorial on how to root your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2:
- Turn Off your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, and boot into download mode by pressing the Volume Up+Power keys at the same time.
- Now connect your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 to your computer.
- Extract and run the ODIN Flash Tool that you downloaded earlier.
- After running, the Flash Tool must have successfully identified your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.
- Now click on the PDA button from the Flash Tool, and then navigate to the Root Folder that you downloaded earlier.
- From the Root Folder, select the CWMrecovery.tar file.
- Now back to your Flash Tool, make sure that only the “F. Reset Time” option is ticked. If any other option is ticked, un-tick it.
- Now click on the start button from the Flash Tool.
- Now you’ll see a green progress at the top left corner of the Flash Tool.
- After the first box goes completely green, your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 will reboot.
- While rebooting, disconnect your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 from the computer.
