Redmi 9 Power Unveiled With Quad-Camera, 6,000mAh Battery Starting at Rs 10,999

The year is about to end but it looks like Redmi is not stopping starting this year with the Redmi 9 series. The company has launched the latest Redmi 9 Power. The smartphone has a waterdrop-style display notch, with a Snapdragon processor, Quad camera at the rear side.

The Redmi 9 Power features a 6.53-inch Full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 Pixels. It has a 19.5:9 ratio, has a 400 nits brightness on the top of it is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. For RAM and Storage, it has 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. The storage could be expanded via a microSD card up to 512GB.

On the optics department, unlike the Redmi Note 94G, which has a triple rear-camera setup. Redmi 9 Power has a Quad-Camera setup at the back. That houses a 48MP primary camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro shooter, a 2MP depth sensor.

For selfies, it has an 8MP shooter for photos and videos. The front camera also supports AI (Artificial Intelligence) face unlock.

For Connectivity options, 9 Power includes 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR) blaster, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device has a stereo speaker that is Hi-Res Audio certified.

Moreover, the drive also comes with the Widevine L1 support to stream HD web series through various platforms such as Netflix and Amazon.

For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and AI face unlock. It has a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging (22.5W charger in the box).

Price And Availability

Redmi 9 Power comes with a price tag of Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. While the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs Rs 11,999. It comes in four colour options: Blazing Blue, Electric Green, Fiery Red, and Mighty Black.

The phone will be available online through Amazon, Mi.com and offline (Mi Homes, Mi Studios, and Mi Stores). The sale will start from 12 PM (noon) starting from December 22.
