Poco F2 Pro Launched with a Pop-Up Selfie Camera, Snapdragon 865 SoC and 8GB RAM

Poco has unveiled its new flagship smartphone Poco F2 Pro globally. The smartphone comes as a rebranded version of the Redmi K30 Pro, Which was launched in China in March this year. The smartphone features a pop-up selfie camera and powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC.

The Poco F2 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2,400 pixels. The display supports HDR 10+ and has a peak brightness of 1200 nits.

It is powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC, coupled with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The device comes in two USF3.1 storage variants 128GB and 26GB.

In the optics department, Poco F2 Pro features a quad-camera setup at the back. The quad-camera setup includes a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, 5MP secondary macro sensor, 13MP wide-angle tertiary sensor, and 2MP Quaternary depth sensor.

The rear camera setup can record 8K video with a resolution of 7680 x 4320. On the front, the smartphone has a 20MP pop-up selfie camera.

The device comes with WiFi-6, 5G Multi-link, Bluetooth 5.1, and IP53 water and dust resistance rating. It has a 4,700mAh battery which supports 30W fast charging.

Further, the device has LiquidCool technology 2.0 and other features like Game Turbo 3.0 with voice changer. The phone also has Widevine L1 certification out-of-the-box. The Poco F2 Pro runs MIUI for Poco, based on Android 10.

Price and Availability

The smartphone will be available in four color variants that include Neon Blue, Phantom Blue, Electric Purple, and Cyber Gray. The base variant starts at €499 which is roughly Rs 40,700, while the top variant starts at €599 which is roughly Rs 48,900. You can purchase the device from AliExpress and Gerabest. In the future, the device will be available on Amazon and Poco.net.

For now, the company hasn’t talked about the Indian launch of the device. But the device could launch in India soon. But, as 5G technology has not come to India yet, we would expect a 4G variant of Poco F2. well, till then you can guess the Indian price of the device.
