Oppo Launched Reno 2, Reno 2Z, and Reno 2F with Quad Cameras

Oppo went on a successful race with their Reno 10x Zoom device. With the optical zooming feature, it has captivated gadget enthusiasts. So, the second generation of the same model got enough hype before going live.

The company has unveiled a trio of models under Reno series; Reno 2, Reno 2Z, and Reno 2F. On the optics front, all three of them feature a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. How do they differ? Let’s find out!

Oppo Reno 2 Series Goes Live in India

Before jumping into the specifications of each variant, you have to bear in mind that Reno 2F will only hit the market in November. So, the company hasn’t revealed the pricing of the same.

Let’s start with Oppo Reno 2. It sports a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution. Underneath the hood, you can find Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB UFS 2.1 storage. The fingerprint sensor resides inside the display. And, the 4000 mAh battery has support for the in-house VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 technology.

On the optics-front, the quad-camera setup on the back features a 48 MP primary sensor, 13 MP telephoto lens (with 2x optical, 5x hybrid, and 20x digital zoom), 8 MP wide-angle sensor, and a 2 MP monochrome lens. The selfie camera measures 16 MP shark fin elevating sensor.

Switching over to Reno 2Z, the 6.53-inch AMOLED display has full HD+ resolution and boasts Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The processing power is drawn from MediaTek Helio P90 chipset. For multitasking, you get 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage. Similar to Reno 2, this one also has 4000 mAh battery with support for VOOC Flash Charge 3.0.

The quad-camera setup contains a 48 MP primary sensor, 8 MP secondary sensor with 119-degree field of view, and a pair of 2 MP ones for depth sensing. The front camera is a 16 MP shooter.

As for Reno 2F, the display has the same dimensions as that of 2Z. However, the chipset inside is Helio P70 with the same RAM and internal storage. Similar to the siblings, this one also has 4000 mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 support.

The camera specifications also are not different either. However, the sensor manufacturers differ from model to model. All three models feature in-display fingerprint scanners.

When it comes to the pricing, Oppo Reno 2 is available Rs. 36990 whereas Reno 2Z at Rs. 29990. The price for Reno ZF is yet to be released by the company.
