OnePlus V Fold is an upcoming flagship folding smartphone that features a new camera layout and design. The leaked renders from one of the well-known sources Onleak have revealed the overlook of this unreleased OnePlus device. As per rumors, the device will be named as OnePlus Fold or OnePlus V Fold.
The leaks have revealed the upcoming device’s specifications and aesthetics which are similar to Pixel Fold and Samsung Galaxy Fold series. The V Fold from OnePlus features a book-style folding design and the same was confirmed with the recent leaks. OnePlus V Fold Leaked Renders and Key Specifications
The leaked renders of the OnePlus V Fold or OnePlus Fold were shared in collaboration with Smartprix and OnLeaks. These render leaks have revealed the full design of the upcoming foldable handset from OnePlus in its full flesh. The renders feature the front, back, and inner display of the device. Moreover, it clearly displays a glass and metal body with premium looks.
The folding mechanism provided on the device will work similarly to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 which closes from the inside. However, the OnePlus V Fold has sharper edges and the rear camera setup comes in a circular module. The same camera module style continues the design from previous flagship OnePlus devices.
The cameras will feature the Hasselblad lens which brings us to the conclusion that, OnePlus is still continuing the collaboration with the camera brand. The rear triple camera setup will come with a periscopic lens as well as an LED Flash. The leaked renders even suggest the rear back features faux leather for a premium feel while holding the folding device in hand.
Overall, the foldable handset looks very sleek and features large displays on both the outside and inside with a punch-hole for the selfie camera. These displays will feature high refresh rate panels with QHD resolution on the folding screen and FHD resolution on the outer screen. The screen sizes come with an 8-inch foldable inside screen and a 6.5-inch flat screen on the outside.
Under the hood, the device may feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The processor pairs with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The expected battery capacity of the V Fold is a 4,800mAh cell that supports 80W fast charging support. The first folding smartphone from OnePlus will launch in August this year.
