Motorola Edge 30 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Chipset Goes on Sale in India

Motorola Edge 30 Pro has arrived in India on February 25th as the brand’s latest flagship smartphone; with a high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The smartphone officially goes on sale from today; i.e., the 4th of March in India, and comes as one of the most affordable flagships currently available in the market.

The Edge 30 Pro comes with the typical Motorola design state; sporting a triple camera setup on the back and a punch-hole display on the front. Furthermore, this latest offering from the brand will compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series; iQOO 9 series along with Xiaomi and Realme in the future in India.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro Specifications

The Edge 30 Pro sports a 6.7 inches FHD+ AMOLED Display with a screen resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels. The display on the Edge 30 Pro features a 144Hz high-refresh-rate; an aspect ratio of 20:9 along with HDR 10+ support.

Moreover, a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the screen; that has a pixel density of 393 PPI and a screen to body ratio of 87.4%. Under the hood, an Octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with Adreno 730 GPU powers the smartphone.

The triple camera module on the Edge 30 Pro houses a 50-megapixel primary wide sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. A secondary 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor with a 114-degrees field of view and an f/2.2 aperture.

Besides, the tertiary camera comes with a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. Coming to the front-facing camera, the punch-hole consists of a 60-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling.

The connectivity options on the Edge 30 Pro include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, Stereo Speakers, and a USB Type-C Port. Besides, the sensors array of the device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner; accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and a barometer.

Moreover, the battery capacity of this latest flagship from Motorola features a 4800 mAh cell; that supports 68W fast charging and charges from 0 to 100% in 35 minutes.

Price and Availability

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro with its single storage version of 8 GB RAM and 128 GB costs Rs. 49,999 in India. Moreover, the device will flaunt in two unique color options – Cosmos Blue and Stardust White.

The smartphone is currently available for sale on the Flipkart India website. Besides, the brand has provided a launch offer of instant cashback of Rs 5000 on SBI credit cards, bringing the cost of the device to Rs. 44,999.
