Moto G9 Launched in India with Snapdragon 662, Triple Camera Starting at Rs 11,499

Moto has launched a new smartphone Moto G9 in India. Moto G9 retains the same water-repellent design as the Moto G8. The latest budget device offers a triple camera setup at the back with a 48 MP camera, Snapdragon 662 processor, 5000mAh battery which supports 20W fast charging.

Moto G9 Specifications

The Moto G9 features a 6.5-inch HD+ Max Vision TFT display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and an 87 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Under the hood, it is powered by 2.0 GHz, octa-core Snapdragon 662 processor, paired with Adreno 610 GPU. It has a single 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and a 64 GB variant.

In the optics department, the device has a triple camera setup at the back. It includes a 48 MP primary sensor that has an f/1.7 aperture and is based on a Quad Pixel technology. Accompanied by a 2 MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens and a 2 MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture.

The rear camera has features such as Auto smile capture, Smart composition, Shot Optimisation, Night Vision, High-res zoom, HDR, AR stickers, Cinemagraph, Manual mode, Portrait mode, Cutout, Spot Colour, Panorama, Live filter, RAW photo output and more.

For selfies, it has an 8 MP shooter with a f/2.2 lens housed in the notch.

The front camera offers similar features such as Auto smile capture, Portrait mode, Face beauty, HDR, Manual mode, Photo Mirror, Timer, Active Photo, Cinemagraph, Live filter, RAW photo output, Spot Colour, Group selfie, Gesture Selfie and more.

The device also supports Moto gestures such as Quick capture, Fast torch, Three-finger screenshot, Screenshot editor, Flip for DND, Pick up to silence, Media controls, and Lift to unlock.

The smartphone runs on Android 10. For security, it has face unlock and a fingerprint scanner at the back.

It has a 5,000mAh battery, that supports 20W fast charging. The company claims it can last you for two days in a single charge. Besides, the phone weighs 200 grams.

Price and Availability

The price of the device has been set Rs 11,499 for the only 4GB + 64GB variant. It has two color options- Forrest Green and Sapphire Blue. The smartphone will go on sale on 31 August on Flipkart.
