Mi 11 Lite Launched with 90Hz Display and Snapdragon 732G SoC in India

Xiaomi has launched the Mi 11 Lite, a mid-range smartphone for the Indian market. The device is a toned-down version of the previous Mi 11X in India. Mi has emphasized more on the lighter design and in-hand feel aspect of the Lite version.

The Lite version of Mi 11 is a more affordable handset that has a flagship-grade design with the overall looks. Besides, the device arrives with 4G connectivity as of now.

Although, Mi has assured that if the demand arises for the 5G connectivity in India. The manufacturer is ready to bring the 11 Lite 5G variant that features Snapdragon 780 chipset. Coming back to the 4G variant, the specifications are similar to the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Pro Max devices. There are still quite a few differences where the 11 Lite features a 10-bit AMOLED panel instead of a regular AMOLED from the Note 10 series.

Mi 11 Lite Specifications and Features

The 11 Lite variant has a display that is derived from high-end foldable and rollable smartphones. Instead of a traditional display, the device features a “flat flexible OLED”. The redesigned circuit board with a 35% smaller footprint allows more room for the battery. The device is one of the thinnest smartphones available in the market weighing 157 grams.

The smartphone features a 6.55-inch full-HD+ AMOLED 10-bit display with a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display supports a 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz of touch sampling rate options.

An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC coupled with Adreno 618 GPU powers the device. The storage options are up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage with expansion up to 512 GB.

Mi 11 Lite

The camera module is a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, with an f/1.79 lens. A secondary 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and has a field-of-view (FoV) of 119 degrees. A tertiary 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 telephoto lens.

The rear setup has an LED Flash and can support up to 4K video recording at 30FPS. The front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel with an f/2.45 lens with AI Beautify, Night Mode, and Time burst.

The connectivity options are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Infrared (IR), Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. There a plethora of sensors provided on the 11 Lite such as an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

The battery capacity of the smartphone is of 4,250mAh with fast-charging support of a 33W adapter provided in the box. Apart from these, the device supports an IP53-certification for minor dust and water resistance. The 11 Lite even features dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio support.

Price and Availability

The Mi 11 Lite comes at starting price of Rs. 21,999 for the 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage variant. The  8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration comes at Rs. 23,999. The color options from Mi for the 11 Lite are Jazz Blue, Tuscany Coral, and Vinyl Black.

You can get Rs. 3000 off with pre-ordering and HDFC back discount which gives it a more effective and less price. Besides, the sale for the Mi 11 Lite will kick start from June 28 and the pre-orders will start from June 25 on Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home, and other retail partners.
