Lenovo announces two new products to the world that may change the entirety of technology in the coming days. We are talking about the announcement of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Foldable Laptop and Glasses T1 Smart Glasses. The company has officially unveiled two new technologies, Tab P11 and P11 Pro tablets.
Lenovo unveiled these new devices at the IFA 2022 event, which kickstarted today, i.e., 2nd September. The event will end on 6th September taking place in Berlin. The latest generation of the ThinkPad X1 Foldable laptop features high-end 12th Gen Intel U9 processors. As the name suggests, the device flaunts a foldable screen that splits into two 12-inch displays.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Foldable Laptop Specifications
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Foldable Laptop sports a larger 16.3-inch OLED foldable display with a 2560 x 2024 pixels of screen resolution. The show supports 600 nits of peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3, and Dolby Vision support. These are worthy upgrades in terms of the display compared to the first-gen 13.3-inch X1 Fold. The device comes with a Bluetooth keyboard as the X1 works as a tablet and laptop.
Under the hood, a 12th-Gen Intel vPro Core i5 or Core i7 processor powers the device. The storage options of this Lenovo-branded foldable laptop include up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1 terabyte of SSD. Speaking of the ports, the computer features t two USB-C ports, both Thunderbolt 4, and an optional nano-SIM slot.
The laptop supports three Dolby Atmos-ready speakers and four mics with Dolby Voice. Furthermore, the battery pack on the ThinkPad X1 has a 48Wh built-in cell and an optional 16Wh battery on the other folded side. The physical dimensions of the laptop include 1.28kg of weight only for the display and a 1.9Kg with the keyboard and stand.
The new intelligent glasses of Lenovo unveiled at the IFA 2022 have come around as a unique attraction among all the other announcements. These latest T1 intelligent glasses from the brand can connect to Windows, Android, and iOS devices and work as a secondary display.
Price and Availability
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Foldable Laptop starts at $2,499 or approx. Rs 1,98,600. Currently, Lenovo will bring their latest laptop for availability in the US Market starting November 2022. The device will go on sale in a single color option of Performance Black. However, there’s no information regarding the availability and pricing of the X1 foldable for the Indian market.
