The upcoming Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 16 Pro will come in larger display sizes. The display sizes that they will flaunt are 6.9-inch and 6.3-inch as per the latest reports. These new sizes will make the iPhones and their display the largest ever since their launch. Currently, the higher-sized iPhone 14 Pro Max comes with a larger display size of 6.7 inches.

The new reports state that, the 16 Pro Max and 16 Pro have taken the size of the displays 0.2 inches higher. The display size of iPhones has started growing substantially as the next-generation models come into the market. Apple has made this transition at a slow pace. The brand used to manufacture the mini variants but discontinued them and replaced them with a Plus model.

The reports were coming from Ross Young, a renowned analyst with a decent track record in predicting display information of upcoming Apple devices. Young indicates that Apple will increase the size of the Pro variant iPhone models from next year i.e., 2024. The sizes will go from 6.7 to 6.9 inches on iPhone 16 Pro Max and 6.1 to 6.3 inches on the iPhone 16 Pro.

Apple hasn’t brought many changes with the display sizes since the iPhone X and uses the same design to date. In the upcoming models, the aspect ratio will change from 19.5:9 to 20.5:9 approx. a bit taller than the regular ones. However, the vanilla iPhone 16 and 16 Plus won’t have any significant changes and will feature the same notch on the front.

Coming to this year’s iPhones, there will be not many changes in design or display. The iPhone 15 series will feature Apple’s Bionic A16 chipset and the Pro variants will come with the A17 chip. Besides, all the models will come equipped with a USB Type-C port ditching the proprietary Lightning port after ages.

There’s even speculation regarding the inclusion of Dynamic Island or the Pill-shaped notch on all the models of iPhone. Dynamic Island was present only on the Pro variants of the iPhone. But now, Apple might add the Pill-shaped notch on all the models but it’s a long way to go.

The upcoming iPhones will have improved battery optimization and an increased battery capacity. Moreover, users can experience the iOS 17 software pre-installed on these forthcoming models. On the camera front, the regular versions of iPhones will receive an upgrade with 12-megapixel cameras replaced with higher 48-megapixel sensors.
