Samsung has announced the new budget smartphone Galaxy M12 in India. Samsung has officially announced this smartphone today for the online market. The main highlighting features of this newly announced Samsung Galaxy M12 are a 90Hz refresh rate display and a 6000 mAh battery.
Besides, the device comes with a quad-camera setup on the rear. The back design of the smartphone is a polycarbonate module, as it is a budget device from the company.
Samsung has launched quite a few smartphones this year that are mostly in the mid and budget range. The Chinese brands are dominating the mid and budget-segment smartphones in recent times. Still, Samsung is sticking to its age-old features that are less powerful and costs way too much when compared to other brands’ smartphones. Nevertheless, the Korean brand has a good following among offline markets and will sell them anyways.
Samsung Galaxy M12 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy M12 sports a 6.4-inch HD+ TFT display with a 720 x 1600 resolution. The display supports a refresh rate of 90Hz and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The design of the display has a water-drop notch that comprises the front-facing camera of the smartphone. Moreover, the smartphone is powered by a 2GHz 8nm Exynos 850 SoC. Coupled with 4/8GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage.
The camera department of the M12 features a Quad-Camera setup that has a 48-megapixel primary sensor. A 5-megapixel ultrawide, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Besides, the front-facing camera featured in the water-drop notch is an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and attending video calls. The device runs on the Android 11 operating system with One UI 3.1 skin on top.

Samsung Galaxy M12 starts with a price tag of Rs 10,999 for 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage variant come with a pricing of Rs 13,499. The color options provided by Samsung for the M12 are Black, Blue, and White.
The Galaxy M12 is scheduled for sale from March 18, 2021. The device will be available for sale on Samsung.com, Amazon, and preferred retail stores in India.
