Realme C12 and C15 Launched with LCD Display, Helio G35 SoC and 6,000mAh Battery

Realme has launched two new smartphones in the Realme C lineup in India, Realme C12, and Realme C15. Both phones come with a 6.5-inch display, MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, 6,000mAh Battery, and rear-fingerprint scanner. However, the C12 offers AI triple camera setup whereas, the C15 comes with a Quad camera setup.

Realme C12 Specifications

Realme C12 features a 6-5-inch HD+ mini-drop display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The LCD display has an 88.7% screen to body ratio and is protected by Gorilla Glass.

It is paired with 3GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32 GB internal storage. There is a dedicated SD card slot for storage expansion.

In the camera department, C12 has a triple AI camera setup at the back. It includes a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and 4x digital zoom, 2MP B&W lens with f/2.4 lens, and 2MP Macro lens with f/2.4 lens.

The rear camera has functions such as beauty, filters, HDR, panoramic view, portrait, Time-lapse, slo-mo, nightscape, expert, etc. Also, it can record up to 1080P videos at 30 fps.

For the selfie front, it has a 5MP lens with f/2.4 aperture.

The device has a 6,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging. However, you’ll not get the 10W charger in the retail box.

Realme C15 Specifications

Like the Realme C12, the C15 has the same display specs like a 6-5-inch HD+ mini-drop display, 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 88.7% screen to body ratio, and protected by Gorilla Glass.

It is paired with 3GB / 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32 GB / 64GB internal storage. There is a dedicated SD card slot for storage expansion.

The C15 has a quad-camera setup, that has a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and 4x digital zoom, 2MP B&W lens with f/2.4 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens (119-degree FOV) and 2MP retro lens with f/2.4 lens.

It has Photography features like Chrome Boost, Ultra wide mode, Beauty, filter, HDR, panoramic view, Portrait, Time-lapse, Slo-mo, Super NightScape, and Expert. Also, it can record up to 1080P videos at 30 fps.

For selfies, it has an 8MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

Like the C12, it is also powered by a 6,000mAh battery and supports 18W quick charge. However, you’ll not get the 10W charger in the retail box.

Both smartphones have a fingerprint scanner at the back and they run on Realme UI based on Android 10.

Price and Availability

Realme C12 price has been set at Rs. 8,999 for the 3GB + 32GB storage variant. Whereas, the Realme C15 comes with a price tag of Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB + 32GB variant and Rs 10,999 for the 4GB + 64GB storage.  Both smartphones come in two, Power Blue and Power Silver color options.

In terms of availability, both devices will be available via Flipkart and Realme.com. The C12 will go on sale starting 24 August. while the C15 will be available from 27 August.

However, Realme C12 will open on August 31 and the C15 will open on September 3 for offline sales.
