Realme has added a new addition to its Realme 6 series. The Realme 6i is the company’s latest budget smartphone that has launched on 25 July in India. It was earlier launched in Myanmar in March this year. The smartphone comes with a MediaTek SoC, quad-camera setup at the back and punch-hole design, and a lot more.
Realme 6i Specifications
The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display features a refresh rate of 90Hz and comes with 90.5 percent screen to body ratio. The device is protected by the Corning Gorilla glass, but the company did not mention which glass is used.
Under the hood, the device is powered by 12nm an Octa-core, MediaTek G90T SoC coupled with ARM G76 GPU. It has up to 6GB of LPDDR4x dual-channel RAM and 64 GB UFS 2.1 of inbuilt storage.
In the optics department, it has a quad-camera setup at the back that includes a 48 MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8 MP Ultra-wide sensor (119 degrees) with an f/2.3 aperture a 2 MP portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture and lastly a 2 MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture.
For the selfie front, it houses a single 16 MP sensor with an f/2 aperture and a 79.3-degree field of view. The front camera comes with features such as Portrait Mode, Timelapse, Panoramic view, AI Beauty, HDR, Face-Recognition, Filter, and Bokeh Effect Control.
For video recording, the rear camera is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps and 1080 videos at 60fps, whereas the rear-camera can record up to 1080 videos at 30fps.
The device is powered by Realme UI based on Android 10. It offers connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS and GLONASS. For security, it has features such as face-recognition and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Realme 6i packs a 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. However, the retail box will include a 20W charger.
Price and Availability
Realme 6i comes in two color options Eclipse Black and Lunar White. The 4GB + 64GB variant will cost Rs 12,999, whereas the top variant i.e, 6GB RAM + 64GB variant will cost Rs 14,999. The smartphone will go on sale starting 31 July at 12 PM via Flipkart and Realme India website.
