Poco C3 Launched With Triple Rear Cameras, MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, 5,000mAh Battery Starting at Rs 7,499

Poco has launched another smartphone Poco C3 in the Indian market. The C3 is a budget-friendly device which was launched via a virtual launch event. The smartphone is a slightly tweaked version of the Redmi 9C that was launched in Malaysia back in June.

The phone sports an HD+ display, a triple rear camera, and a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera, MediaTek Processor, and 5,000mAh battery. Moreover, the Poco C3 is claimed to be ads-free.

Poco C3 Specifications

The C3 features a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and features a waterdrop-styled notch. It is P2i-rated for splash-resistance.

Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, coupled with  PowerVR GE8320 GPU. For gaming, it has Hyper Engine Game Technology. It has up to 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded via a microSD card up to 512GB.

On the optics department, the smartphone features a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 13 MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2 MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and another 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 lens.

The rear camera comes with features such as Phase Detection Auto Focus, HDR, AI Portrait Mode, Face Recognition, and AI Scene Detection.

For selfies, it has a 5 MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera features Face Recognition, HDR, AI Portrait Mode, Screen Flash, Selfie Timer, Portrait Selfies, and Palm Shutter.

It can also record up to 1080 pixel videos at 30 fps.

The sensors onboard include Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and Accelerometer. For security it has face unlock.

The smartphone runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 10 out of the box. It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10 W fast charging. The company claims the phone can give a standby time of 586 hours, 37 hours of call time 12.5 hours of video playback, 165 hours of music, and 14 hours of gaming.

Price and Availability

The Poco C3 comes in Arctic Blue, Lime Green, and Matte Black three color options. The device is priced at Rs 7,499 for the base 3GB + 32GB variant and Rs 8,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. It will go on sale via Flipkart starting October 16.
